About Me

Hi, I’m Kim Pendleton. I’ve spent over 20 years in education, sharing my love of learning in both traditional and online classrooms. Since 2018, I’ve taught second grade at FreedomProject Academy, a Christian online school where I combine academic growth with faith-based teaching. Before that, I taught elementary students in Idaho, Maine, and beyond—always focused on creating meaningful connections.
Writing has always been a passion of mine. I’ve worked as a reporter, newsletter editor, and volunteer writer, using words to inform, encourage, and inspire. I hold a Master’s in Educational Technology from Boise State University, and I love blending my background in leadership, communication, and tech into the work I do.
In my book, Less: Living a Life Where Less Leads to More, I share what I’ve learned about the freedom that comes from living simply and trusting God more. It’s about stepping back from busyness and finding peace and purpose in Him.
When I’m not writing or teaching, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and living a slower, more intentional life.
